The final day of my second year semester
exam! Find it so hard to believe I have completed two years at Sasi CreativeSchool of Architecture (SCSA) at Coimbatore. It seems like just yesterday that I was going
through the prospectus of the college and realizing I wanted to study there.
Choosing SCSA has been the best decision I have made to date.
The faculties are really fantastic! During
the past year they have taught me so much about the technical aspects of
architecture. What has really impressed me though is their wealth of knowledge
about the latest innovations in the construction industry. There have been so
many class discussions and analysis about green architecture and other new
trends, we students were always encouraged to give our viewpoint. Guest
lecturers were also brought in to give us a different perspective. I feel that
it is this thinking outside the box, which is going to stand me in good stead
when I join the workforce.
Studies apart, I loved spending time in the
Art rooms and studio tapping into my creative side. I like the fact that we are
given the freedom to explore and develop our creative side. I am really looking
forward to being a part of the workshops being conducted next year, as part of
our iStudio tie-up with the BIT UAE Campus. It will be fantastic to work with
the students from that college. An opportunity to learn so much.... signing off
till next year.
